Duck Game needs more love! One of the funnest couch multiplayer games on switch! If you get Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 (and it is great couch co-op if your family has Marvel fans in it), play through the main story by yourself first. it should take 10 hours max on the easiest level (there is more content).

Also, I’m not sure if Final Fantasy IX has multiplayer on Switch, but on PS1 you could have a second player play as a couple of characters in battles. But that’s basically it, sadly player 1 moves about the overworld and controls everything else so it’s not as good unless one of you play games on your phone etc. while the other drives.
